Last Night at the Halfmoon
So you want to know
about drive-ins?
Hallfmoon
Bay is a real place on the Sunshine Coast.
Awakening
The place that inspired me when I was working on
this book was the restoration of the property by
the City of Vancouver at Mole Hill just up the street
from where I live. I went out of my way to walk
through this
beautiful garden lane. Here's a
short paper on the restoration of these houses,
with photographs.
"If I Make it Through December" in Summer
Dreams
This book wouldn't have been written if it weren't
for my great friend Francesco Alongi and his restaurant
- Don
Francesco Ristorante.
The other inspiration was Granville
Island.
